Fellowship Symposia

Each year, the Novo Nordisk – Oxford Fellowship Programme hosts a symposium in Oxford, bringing together approximately 150 researchers, including current and past fellows and their supervisors. Attendees represent various departments within Oxford's Medical Sciences Division and Mathematical, Physical and Life Sciences Division, as well as the Novo Nordisk Research Centre Oxford. We are also joined by guests from other international sites of Novo Nordisk.

The symposium features a day of talks by current and past fellows, alongside invited speakers from the University and Novo Nordisk. Current fellows also present their research through posters, with plenty of opportunities for networking and informal discussions. It is a valuable opportunity for fellows, both past and present, to reconnect with each other and their mentors, exchange ideas, stay in touch, and strengthen the fellowship programme community.

In addition, Novo Nordisk organises an annual symposium in Denmark, where current fellows from around the world gather to present their research. The visit typically includes scientific talks, meetings with Novo Nordisk scientists, and a visit to their largest research facility globally, located in Måløv, Denmark.
